California High School Basketball - Nordhoff thwarts Villanova Prep

January 10, 2025: Ojai, CA 93023

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Nordhoff Rangers (Ojai, CA) and the visiting Villanova Prep Wildcats (Ojai, CA), observed Nordhoff's basketball team knock off Villanova Prep by a score of 42-26.

The Rangers (6-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Carpinteria (Carpinteria, CA). The Warriors come into the Citrus Coast challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Carpinteria dropped by Santa Paula (Santa Paula, CA), 72-66, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Grace Lancers (Simi Valley, CA) in a Frontier challenge, on Monday, January 13. Villanova Prep will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 69-55 non-league win over Desert Christian (Lancaster, CA).
