North Clarion Wolves (Tionesta, PA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Union Knights/Damsels (Rimersburg, PA), 51-50 in a league match.

With the victory, North Clarion advances its record to 5-5 on the year. The Wolves host Allegheny-Clarion Valley (Foxburg, PA) to face the Falcons in a Keystone Shortway match on Tuesday, January 14. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 2-7. Allegheny-Clarion Valley lost 55-34 in their recent league match against Clarion Area (Clarion, PA)

The Knights/Damsels now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Moniteau for a Keystone Shortway match on Thursday, January 16. Union will face a Warriors squad coming off a 64-50 league loss to Clarion-Limestone (Strattanville, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-11.
