Oakley Hornets (Oakley, ID) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Sun Valley Community Cutthroats (Sun Valley, ID), 51-27 in a league match.
With the victory, Oakley advances its record to 6-1 on the year. The Hornets travel to Raft River (Malta, ID) to face the Trojans in a 2A Snake River match on Wednesday, January 15. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 4-4. Raft River won 62-37 in their recent league match against Shoshone (Shoshone, ID)
The Cutthroats now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley for a 2A Snake River match on Monday, January 13. Sun Valley Community will face a Vikings squad coming off a 80-35 league win over Murtaugh (Murtaugh, ID). The Vikings record now stands at 8-0.
