The Indians (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Xavier Prep (Palm Desert, CA). The Saints come into the Desert Empire challenge with a 7-13 record. In their last challenge, Xavier Prep was routed by Rancho Mirage (Rancho Mirage, CA), 77-53, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Palm Desert Aztecs (Palm Desert, CA) in a Desert Empire challenge, on Monday, January 13. Shadow Hills will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Aztecs come into the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 58-54 non-league win over Calexico (Calexico, CA).
