The Perry Panthers basketball squad (Perry, GA), was crushed 66-43 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA)
With the victory, Ware County advances its record to 12-4 on the year. The Gators travel to Wayne County (Jesup, GA) to meet the Yellow Jackets in a AAAA Region 1 battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Panthers now own a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Peach County for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 11. Perry will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 59-48 league loss to Dougherty (Albany, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-9.
