In Friday's league contest, the visiting Woodland Warriors basketball team scored a big 72-48 win over the Putnam County Panthers.
The Warriors (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Midland (Varna, IL). The Timberwolves come into the Tri-County contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Midland was trounced by Lowpoint-Washburn (Washburn, IL), 38-29, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 22. Putnam County will attempt to better on its 0-16 season record.
