In Friday's league contest, the host South Fayette Lions basketball team scored a good 51-37 triumph over the Trinity Hillers.
The Lions (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Steel Valley (Munhall, PA). The Ironmen go into the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Steel Valley was topped by South Park (South Park, PA), 41-23, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Hillers battle the Ringgold Rams (Monongahela, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 3 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Trinity will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Rams go into the contest with a 1-8 record after their 75-40 league loss to Peters Township (McMurray, PA).
