Maine High School Basketball - Waynflete succumbs to Winthrop

In Friday's league test, the Winthrop Ramblers (Winthrop, ME) basketball squad defeated the visiting Waynflete Flyers (Portland, ME), by a final score of 51-41.
Next, the Ramblers clash with the Lisbon Greyhounds (Lisbon Falls, ME) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 14. Winthrop will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Greyhounds come into the test with a 1-10 record after their 61-18 non-league loss to Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME).
The Flyers (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Traip (Kittery, ME). The Rangers come into the C South test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Traip went down by Dirigo (Dixfield, ME), 52-23, in a league test.
