The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL) and the visiting Fulton Steamers (Fulton, IL), observed Amboy's basketball team overwhelm Fulton by a score of 47-23.

The Clippers (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Dakota (Dakota, IL). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 9-6 record. In their last challenge, Dakota trounced Pearl City (Pearl City, IL), 54-35, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Steamers encounter the Polo Marcos (Polo, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini - South challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Fulton will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Marcos come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 65-21 league win over Morrison (Morrison, IL).
