The Banks Braves (Banks, OR) basketball edged the visiting Corbett Cardinals (Corbett, OR), 37-31 in Friday's league bout.
The Braves now possess a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Yamhill-Carlton for a 3A Coastal Range bout on Tuesday, January 14. Banks will play a Tigers team coming off a 43-24 league win over Riverdale (Portland, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 11-1.
With the loss, Corbett falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Warrenton (Warrenton, OR) to play the Warriors in a 3A Coastal Range bout on Monday, January 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Warrenton lost 50-31 in their recent league bout against Rainier (Rainier, OR)
