The Brimley Bays basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Rudyard Bulldogs to 24 in the Bays league triumph on Friday.

The Bays now have a 7-2 record. They play next when they host International Academy for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. Brimley will confront a Phoenix team coming off a 64-49 league loss to Genesee (Genesee, MI). The Phoenix record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, Rudyard falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to St.Ignace (St. Ignace, MI) to confront the Saints in a Eastern Upper Peninsula game on Monday, January 13. The Saints go into the game with a record of 8-1. St.Ignace won 57-46 in their recent non-league game against Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI)
