In Friday's league contest, the host Burns Hilanders basketball team scored a big 63-25 win over the Umatilla Vikings.

The Hilanders (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sisters (Sisters, OR). The Outlaws come into the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Sisters smashed Douglas (Winston, OR), 58-18, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Riverside Pirates (Boardman, OR) in a 3A Eastern Oregon contest, on Friday, January 17. Umatilla will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Pirates come into the contest with a 6-8 record after their 50-17 league win over McLoughlin (Milton-Freewater, OR).
