Norwin Knights (North Huntingdon, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Canon-McMillan Big Macs (Canonsburg, PA), 56-40 in a league match.

With the victory, Norwin upgrades its record to 6-6 on the year. The Knights travel to Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA) to face the Spartans in a WPIAL 6A 2 match on Monday, January 13. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 7-5. Hempfield Area lost 75-55 in their recent non-league match against Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA)

The Big Macs now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Connellsville for a WPIAL 6A 2 match on Tuesday, January 14.
