The Carroll Eagles basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Eufaula Tigers to 40 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now have a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Headland for a 5A Area 4 game on Tuesday, January 14. Carroll will confront a Rams team coming off a 53-24 non-league win over Pike Liberal Arts (Troy, AL). The Rams record now stands at 10-6.

With the loss, Eufaula falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host Abbeville (Abbeville, AL) to confront the Yellowjackets in a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. The Yellowjackets go into the game with a record of 14-1. Abbeville won 50-35 in their recent league game against Long (Skipperville, AL)
