Next, the Bulldogs face the Henderson Lions (Henderson, TX) in a 4A Region II District 16 outing, on Tuesday, January 14. Carthage will attempt to upgrade on its 15-13 season record. The Lions enter the outing with a 9-12 record after their 57-48 league loss to Kilgore (Kilgore, TX).
The Pirates (13-7) will now prepare for their outing against Cumberland Academy (Tyler, TX). The Knights enter the 4A Region II District 16 outing with a 7-19 record. In their last outing, Cumberland Academy was overwhelmed by Gilmer (Gilmer, TX), 66-41, in a league outing.
