In Friday's league contest, the host Cary-Grove Trojans basketball team scored a big 55-31 triumph over the Crystal Lake South Gators.
The Trojans (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Burlington, IL). The Rockets go into the Fox Valley contest with a 4-13 record. In their last contest, Central was trounced by Huntley (Huntley, IL), 74-17, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Gators confront the Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 13. Crystal Lake South will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 3-14 record after their 52-49 league loss to Antioch (Antioch, IL).
