Iowa High School Basketball - Clear Lake overwhelms St. Edmond

The Clear Lake Lions basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting St. Edmond Gaels to 25 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Roland-Story for a non-league game on Monday, January 13. Clear Lake will play a Norsemen team coming off a 69-31 league win over Saydel (Des Moines, IA). The Norsemen record now stands at 10-2.
With the loss, St. Edmond falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Gaels travel to Eagle Grove (Eagle Grove, IA) to play the Eagles in a North Central game on Monday, January 13. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 1-10. Eagle Grove lost 70-34 in their recent non-league game against North Iowa (Buffalo Center, IA)
