In Friday's league contest, the visiting Gaston Greyhounds basketball team scored a big 36-15 win over the Columbia Christian Knights.
The Greyhounds (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Faith Bible Christian/Life Christian (Aloha, OR). The come into the 2A Northwest contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Faith Bible Christian/Life Christian was trounced by Knappa (Astoria, OR), 59-35, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Portland Christian Royals (Portland, OR) in a 2A Northwest contest, on Monday, January 13. Columbia Christian will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Royals come into the contest with a 5-7 record after their 55-44 league loss to Nestucca (Cloverdale, OR).
