The Cosby Eagles (Cosby, TN) basketball crushed the visiting Hancock County Indians (Sneedville, TN), 54-26 in Friday's league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Pigeon Forge for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. Cosby will play a Tigers team coming off a 70-37 league win over Eagleton College & Career Academy (Maryville, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 8-7.
With the loss, Hancock County falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Indians travel to North Greene (Greeneville, TN) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 13-3.
