Alabama High School Basketball - Jackson knocks off Escambia County

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Jackson Aggies basketball team scored a good 49-38 win over the Escambia County Blue Devils.

The Aggies (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Choctaw (Gilbertown, AL). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Southern Choctaw was topped by McIntosh (McIntosh, AL), 43-37, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Alabama Christian Academy Eagles (Montgomery, AL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 11. Escambia County will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 13-3 record after their 43-39 league loss to Montgomery Academy (Montgomery, AL).
