The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the South Hamilton Hawks (Jewell, IA) and the host Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA), observed South Hamilton's basketball team overwhelm Greene County by a score of 53-20.

The Hawks (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA). The Jaguars come into the non-league challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Southeast Valley was routed by Alta-Aurelia (Alta, IA), 78-33, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Northwest Webster Cougars (Manson, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 13. Greene County will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record.
