The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Guthrie Jaguars (Guthrie, TX) and the host Paducah Dragons (Paducah, TX), observed Guthrie's basketball team overwhelm Paducah by a margin of 66-39.
The Jaguars (19-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Spur (Spur, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 1A Region I District 8 challenge with a 14-11 record. In their last challenge, Spur was trounced by Valley (Turkey, TX), 56-33, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Dragons battle the Patton Springs Rangers (Afton, TX) in a 1A Region I District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Paducah will attempt to better on its 3-18 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 41-38 league loss to Motley County (Matador, TX).
