The Hersey Huskies basketball team scored 44 points and limited the visiting Rolling Meadows Mustangs to 19 in the Huskies league triumph on Friday.

The Huskies now possess a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to Nazareth Academy for a non-league game on Monday, January 13. Hersey will play a Roadrunners team coming off a 49-41 league win over Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Roadrunners record now stands at 15-2.

With the loss, Rolling Meadows falls to 13-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Larkin (Elgin, IL) to play the Royals in a non-league game on Monday, January 13. The Royals go into the game with a record of 9-8. Larkin lost 45-31 in their recent non-league game against St. Edward (Elgin, IL)
