The Huron River Rats basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters to 50 in the River Rats league triumph on Friday.

The River Rats now possess a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Skyline for a Southeastern - Red game on Tuesday, January 14.

With the loss, Lincoln falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Railsplitters host Garden City (Garden City, MI) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Monday, January 13. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 2-6. Garden City lost 65-19 in their recent league game against Thurston (Redford, MI)
