The North East Indians basketball team scored 33 points and limited the host Joppatowne Mariners to 31 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Perryville for a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Susquehanna game on Tuesday, January 14. North East will confront a Panthers team coming off a 58-36 non-league win over Elkton (Elkton, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Joppatowne falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Mariners travel to C. Milton Wright (Bel Air, MD) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14.
