The Kearney Bearcats basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Lincoln High Links to 35 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bearcats now have a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Buena Vista for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. Kearney will confront a Bison team coming off a 70-23 non-league loss to Millard West (Omaha, NE). The Bison record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Lincoln High falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Links travel to Omaha South (Omaha, NE) to confront the Packers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. The Packers go into the game with a record of 2-9. Omaha South lost 68-33 in their recent league game against Burke (Omaha, NE)
