The Keene Central Beavers (Keene Valley, NY) basketball edged the host Lake Placid Bombers (Lake Placid, NY), 32-30 in Friday's league bout.
The Beavers now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Wells for a Section 7 Mountain and Valley II bout on Monday, January 13. Keene Central will play a Wells CSD team coming off a 39-34 league win over Indian Lake Central/Long Lake Central (Indian Lake, NY). The Wells CSD record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, Lake Placid falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Bombers host Johnsburg Central (North Creek, NY) to play the Jaguars in a Section 7 Mountain and Valley II bout on Monday, January 13.
