Virginia High School Basketball - Maury holds off Lake Taylor

January 10, 2025: Norfolk, VA 23517

The Maury Commodores basketball team scored 35 points and limited the visiting Lake Taylor Titans to 28 in the Commodores league triumph on Friday.

The Commodores now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Manor for a Eastern game on Wednesday, January 15. Maury will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 64-32 non-league win over Landstown (Virginia Beach, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-1.

With the loss, Lake Taylor falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Titans host Manor (Portsmouth, VA) to confront the Mustangs in a Eastern game on Friday, January 17. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 9-1.
