In Friday's league contest, the visiting Louisa-Muscatine Falcons basketball team scored a good 48-37 triumph over the Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves.
The Falcons (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Wapello (Wapello, IA). The Indians enter the SEI - North battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Wapello thwarted Pekin (Packwood, IA), 36-34, in a league battle.
The Wolves now own a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holy Trinity Catholic for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 11. Winfield-Mt. Union will meet a Crusaders squad coming off a 69-42 non-league loss to Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-1.
