The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the West Salem Panthers (West Salem, WI) and the visiting Luther Knights (Onalaska, WI), observed West Salem's basketball team knock off Luther by a score of 46-31.

The Panthers (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Viroqua (Viroqua, WI). The Blackhawks come into the Coulee challenge with a 3-7 record.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Westby Norsemen (Westby, WI) in a Coulee challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Luther will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record.
