The Richmond Red Devils basketball squad (Richmond, IN), was outscored 51-40 in Friday's league battle with the host Marion Giants (Marion, IN)

With the victory, Marion advances its record to 8-10 on the year. The Giants host Mississinewa (Gas City, IN) to meet the Indians in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Indians enter the battle with a record of 6-10. Mississinewa lost 46-42 in their recent non-league battle against Manchester (North Manchester, IN)

The Red Devils now own a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Connersville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. Richmond will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 53-50 non-league win over Greenfield-Central (Greenfield, IN). The Spartans record now stands at 11-5.
