In Friday's league contest, the host Twin Falls Bruins basketball team scored a big 53-27 win over the Minico Spartans.
The Bruins (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain Home (Mountain Home, ID). The Tigers come into the 5A High Country contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Mountain Home smashed Jerome (Jerome, ID), 73-33, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Burley Bobcats (Burley, ID) in a 5A Southern Idaho contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Minico will attempt to better on its 1-14 season record. The Bobcats come into the contest with a 11-3 record after their 50-40 non-league win over Preston (Preston, ID).
