In Friday's league contest, the visiting Woodbine Tigers basketball team scored a big 50-11 triumph over the Paton-Churdan Rockets.
The Tigers (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA). The go into the non-league contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute smashed Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA), 62-57, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rockets battle the Boyer Valley Bulldogs (Dunlap, IA) in a Rolling Valley contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Paton-Churdan will attempt to better on its 1-10 season record.
