The Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA) basketball toppled the host Perry Panthers (Perry, GA), 57-41 in Friday's league bout.
The Gators now possess a 16-3 record. They play next when they travel to Wayne County for a AAAA Region 1 bout on Tuesday, January 14. Ware County will play a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 65-17 league win over New Hampstead (Savannah, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 11-5.
With the loss, Perry falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Peach County (Fort Valley, GA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Peach County lost 60-57 in their recent non-league bout against Dougherty (Albany, GA)
