The Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats (Skidmore, TX) basketball were winner over the host Port Aransas Marlins (Port Aransas, TX), 45-36 in Friday's league bout.

The Bobcats now possess a 19-9 record. They play next when they host Refugio for a 2A Region IV District 31 bout on Tuesday, January 14. Skidmore-Tynan will play a Bobcats team coming off a 63-21 league win over Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 21-4.

With the loss, Port Aransas falls to 18-8 on the campaign. The Marlins host Pettus (Pettus, TX) to play the Eagles in a 2A Region IV District 31 bout on Tuesday, January 14.
