The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Richland Bombers (Richland, WA) and the host Walla Walla Blue Devils (Walla Walla, WA), observed Richland's basketball team knock off Walla Walla by a score of 78-66.
The Bombers (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Hermiston (Hermiston, WA). The Bulldogs come into the 3A/4A Mid-Columbia challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Hermiston was knocked off by Kennewick (Kennewick, WA), 71-57, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Blue Devils encounter the Pasco Bulldogs (Pasco, WA) in a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Walla Walla will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 80-27 league loss to Chiawana (Pasco, WA).
