In Friday's league contest, the host Westwood Rebels basketball team scored a big 72-38 triumph over the Ridge View Raptors.
The Rebels (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against South O'Brien (Paullina, IA). The Wolverines go into the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, South O'Brien was trounced by Harris-Lake Park (Lake Park, IA), 42-30, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Raptors battle the Storm Lake Tornadoes (Storm Lake, IA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 13. Ridge View will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record.
