In Friday's league contest, the host San Luis Obispo Tigers basketball team scored a close 44-38 triumph over the Templeton Eagles.
The Tigers (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Ynez (Santa Ynez, CA). The Pirates go into the Sunset contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Santa Ynez was tipped by Cabrillo (Lompoc, CA), 49-30, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Paso Robles Bearcats (Paso Robles, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Templeton will attempt to better on its 11-6 season record. The Bearcats go into the contest with a 7-9 record after their 47-36 league loss to Lompoc (Lompoc, CA).
