The Santa Fe Raiders (Alachua, FL) basketball edged the visiting Union County Fightin' Tigers (Lake Butler, FL), 43-38 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Raiders now possess a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Lafayette for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. Santa Fe will play a Hornets team coming off a 37-27 non-league loss to Chiefland (Chiefland, FL). The Hornets record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Union County falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Fightin' tigers host Branford (Branford, FL) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Branford won 53-26 in their recent non-league bout against Aucilla Christian (Monticello, FL)
