Arizona High School Basketball - Trivium Prep succumbs to St. John Paul II Catholic

In Friday's league test, the St. John Paul II Catholic Lions (Avondale, AZ) basketball squad defeated the host Trivium Prep Crimson Knights (Goodyear, AZ), by a score of 24-15.

Next, the Lions clash with the Glendale Prep Academy Griffins (Glendale, AZ) in a 2A West test, on Thursday, January 16. St. John Paul II Catholic will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record.

The Crimson Knights (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Heritage Academy (Laveen, AZ). The Heroes come into the non-league test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Heritage Academy overcame Santa Cruz Valley (Eloy, AZ), 40-30, in a league game.
