In Friday's league contest, the host Warwick Wildcats basketball team scored a close 35-30 triumph over the Valley Central Vikings.
The Wildcats (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Kingston (Kingston, NY). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Kingston was tipped by Newburgh Free Academy (Newburgh, NY), 62-54, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Vikings battle the Washingtonville Wizards (Washingtonville, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County II contest, on Friday, January 24. Valley Central will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record.
