Annandale Atoms (Annandale, VA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lewis Lancers (Springfield, VA), 22-21 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Annandale advances its record to 1-2 on the year. The Atoms travel to Hayfield (Alexandria, VA) to face the Hawks in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 15. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 3-1.
The Lancers now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Justice for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14.
