The Indians (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Dayton (Dayton, NV). The Dust Devils come into the challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Dayton dropped by North Valleys (Reno, NV), 27-6, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Vaqueros battle the Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Fernley will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 41-27 non-league loss to Elko (Elko, NV).
