In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting St. George's Dragons basketball team scored a big 38-17 win over the Chewelah Cougars.
The Dragons (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest Christian School (Colbert, WA). The Crusaders come into the non-league contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Northwest Christian School smashed Riverside (Chattaroy, WA), 50-18, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Oroville Hornets (Oroville, WA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 11. Chewelah will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 18-13 non-league win over Republic (Republic, WA).
