Rhode Island High School Ice Hockey - Smithfield knocks off Burrillville

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Smithfield Sentinels ice hockey team scored a close 4-1 victory over the Burrillville Broncos.
The Sentinels (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Crusaders go into the Division 1 contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Prout by New Canaan (New Canaan, CT), 4-3, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Broncos play the Moses Brown Quakers (Providence, RI) in a Division 1 contest, on Thursday, January 16. Burrillville will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Quakers go into the contest with a 8-4 record after their 2-1 league win over Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI).
