Ohio High School Ice Hockey - St. Edward holds off Gilmour Academy

The St. Edward Eagles ice hockey team scored 2 points and held the host Gilmour Academy Lancers to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now own a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Ignatius for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. St. Edward will play a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over University School (Hunting Valley, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-6.
With the defeat, Gilmour Academy moves to 15-7 on the season. The Lancers travel to St. John's Jesuit (Toledo, OH) to play the Titans in a non-league contest on Saturday, January 11. The Titans come into the contest with a record of 1-19. St. John's Jesuit lost 9-1 in their recent league contest against St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH)
