The St. Ignatius Wildcats ice hockey team scored 8 points and held the host St. John's Jesuit Titans to 1 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats now own a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Edward for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. St. Ignatius will play a Eagles team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 16-6.
With the defeat, St. John's Jesuit moves to 1-21 on the season. The Titans travel to Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 14-6. Gilmour Academy 1-1 in their recent league bout against Shaker Heights (Shaker Heights, OH)
