The Steamboat Springs Sailors ice hockey team scored 7 points and held the host Summit Tigers to 4 in the Sailors league victory on Friday.

The Sailors now own a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenwood Springs for a 4A Mountain bout on Saturday, January 11. Steamboat Springs will play a Demons team coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Rampart (Colorado Springs, CO). The Demons record now stands at 9-0.

With the defeat, Summit moves to 6-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Caprock Academy (Grand Junction, CO) to play the Eagles in a 4A Mountain bout on Saturday, January 11. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-8. Caprock Academy lost 5-0 in their recent league bout against Steamboat Springs (Steamboat Springs, CO)
