The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Aspen Skiers (Aspen, CO) and the visiting Rifle Bears (Rifle, CO), observed Aspen's basketball team overcome Rifle by a score of 52-32.
The Skiers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Moffat County (Craig, CO). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Moffat County defeated Grand Valley (Parachute, CO), 69-25, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bears battle the Eagle Valley Devils (Gypsum, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Rifle will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Devils come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 57-39 non-league loss to Palisade (Palisade, CO).
