Virginia High School Basketball - Hickory holds off Great Bridge

The Hickory Hawks basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Great Bridge Wildcats to 55 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Hawks now have a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Grassfield for a non-league game on Friday, January 17.
With the loss, Great Bridge falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 5-3.
